Bio

Mrs. Onie L. Miller, 95, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at her daughter's residence in Moss Bluff, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Alexandria, Mrs. Miller worked for 16 years at Baptist Hospital (now known as Rapides General) as a delivery nurses' aide of which she was most proud. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, Tenney A. Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Willow Eiselstein and husband, Lewis of Moss Bluff; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandsons; and a brother, Russell Leavines of Gardner. Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church in Gardner, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be that morning at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at [email protected]
