Bio

Bell Zora Reeves 74 of Laton died Sunday at a local hospital. She was a native of Texas and had lived in Laton for the past 13 years. She is survived by her husband, Sam Reeves of Laton: four sons, Archie Reeves and Cleatus Reeves, both of Laton, Troy Reeves of Santa Margarita and Troy Reeves of Vesta; one daughter, Mrs Alma Wheeless of Porterville; one brother, Alex Pope of McKinney, Texas, two sisters, Mrs Carrie Bowers of McKinney, Texas and Mrs Florence Bowers of Lemoore, 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God, Lemoore. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of People's Undertaking Parlor Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
