Married to Otis A. Jordan, June 9, 1934. ∼ Ada Ora Mae Jordan, 86, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at an Abilene nursing center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, in the Bakker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Joplin officiating. Burial will be in Murray Cemetery at Carbon. Mrs. Jordan was born at Sweetwater to Grady and Mittie Hopper Rone. She lived at Rucker during her early childhood and later moved to the Kokomo Community in Eastland County. She married Otis A. Jordan in Eastland. She was a longtime employee of Hollywood Vassarette of Eastland, retiring in 1976. Mrs. Jordan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eastland, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge. She was also the Activities Director at Eastland Manor Nursing Home, active in the Eastland County Food Pantry and was a member of the Morton Valley Home Demonstration Club.
