COMSTOCK John R 'Johnny' Comstock, Jr., 62, a native and life long resident of Rosinton, died Sunday, July 4, 2004. He served in the U.S. Army and was owner/operator of Comstock Dairy for over 26 years. He coached baseball and football. He was also an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially net fishing. He was known for his practical jokes. Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy Mosley Comstock; three sons, John R 'Robbie' Comstock; R. Travis Comstock all of Loxley; Chris L. Comstock of Birmingham; six sisters, Gloria Murphy of Loxley; Sandra Ray of Marlow; Deborah Burton of Bay Minette; Judy Powell of Robertsdale; Donna Comstock Falcon of Reliance, S.D.; Laura Comstock of Loxley; and one brother, Sidney McMillan of Loxley. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 7 at the Rosinton United Methoidst Church with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley. Pallbearers include: Mike Vivar, John Cooper, Jim Racine, Dewayne Hayes, Gary Zylstra, Joe Petelinski, Burie Ellison and David Middleton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Rosinton United Methodist Church Youth. Arrangements by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Robertsdale.
