Bio

COMSTOCK John Robert ‘Jack' Comstock Sr., 82, a native of Loxley and resident of Silverhill, died Aug. 24, 2000, at a local hospital. Comstock retired from the Alabama Dry Dock and ship Building. Survivors include five daughters, Gloria Murphy of Rosinton, Sandra Ray of Elberta, Judy Powell of Robertsdale, Donna Falcon of South Dakota and Laura Collins of Mississippi; one son, Johnny Comstock of Rosinton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Comstock was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Comstock Sr. Services were held Aug. 26 at Mack Funeral Home chapel. Burial followed in greenwood Cemetery, Loxley. Published August 31, 2000, The Independent, Robertsdale, Alabama
