SHIRLEY CHILDRESS STURMA ROBERTSDALE -- Shirley Childress Sturma, a native of Loxley and a resident of Robertsdale, died Thursday, Aug. 23. She was 63. Mrs. Sturma was a member of the Loxley Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Ed Sturma of Robertsdale; one son, Tony Sturma of Loxley; three daughters, Kim Lowery of Robertsdale, Lori Sturma of Fairhope, and Dawn Sturma of Loxley; one sister, Brenda Pierce; two brothers, Rex Childress and Max Childress, all of Loxley; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Saturday. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
