Mr. Max Childress July 13, 1944 - January 12, 2016 Max Childress, age 71, a resident of Loxley, AL passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2015. Mr. Childress was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Billie Childress, Rex Childress, Shirley Sturma and Tex Childress and is survived by his wife, Patricia Childress of Loxley, AL; two daughters, Karen (Teri) Lowery of Elsanor, AL and Starr (David) LaCourse of Loxley, AL; one sister, Brenda Harper of Robertsdale, AL; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Cooper Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Baldwin County Academic and Sports Foundation.
