Waco Tribune Herald Friday Dec. 8, 1967 page 14B Crockett, Thomas A (Uncle Ab) Thomas A. (Uncle Ab) Crockett. 89, of 1208 Spring Street died at 4:30 a.m., Wednesday in a local hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilkerson and Hatch Chapel, Rev. J.A. Hale y officiating, burial in Rosemound Cemetary. The family will be at 1204 La Vega Street. Survivors: His wife: one daughter, Mrs. E.W. Rash of 1204 La Vega: one son J.W. Crockett of 20 17 Travis: two sisters Mrs. Alma O'Neal and Mrs. Delma O'Neal of Dallas: eight grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.] Active pallbearers: Marvin Crockett, Jack Reed, Curtis Crockett, Wayne Smith, Oren McKinney , Jerry Smith. Wilikerson and Hatch Funeral home 1124 Washington Ave. phone PL3-3691. (Surviving spouse was Lennie L Beasley his 2nd wife they had no issues) My grandfather his son Leonard Cecil Crockett was already deceased that is why he is not mentioned in obit.
