Geraldine Lindley Services for Geraldine Lindley, 82, Leesburg, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Beaty Funeral Home, 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro. Burial will be Smyrna Cemetery, Wood County. Mrs. Lindley passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at the age of 82. She was born on Sept. 6, 1926, to the late Wesley J. Crabtree and Pearl Stonestreet Crabtree in Valiant, Okla. Mrs. Lindley was a seamstress and a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Wayne Lindley; brothers, Vernon and Doyle Crabtree; and daughter-in-law, Karen Lindley. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Mr. D.W. Lindley of Leesburg; sons, D.W. Lindley Jr. of Pittsburg, Kenneth Lindley of Leesburg, Jody Lindley of Leesburg, and Mark William Lindley of Tyler; brothers, Jerry Crabtree of Victoria, Willie Crabtree of Dallas, Thomas Crabtree of Big Sandy, and Lloyd Crabtree of Big Sandy; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers are D.W. Lindley III, Chris Lindley, Mark Ezell, Johnny Mack McConnell, Kenneth Wetzel and Joe Lindley. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
