Bio

Jerry Crabtree, 38 years old formerly of Marshall County, but now of Gladwater, Texas, was accidentally shot and killed early Monday morning while on his way to work according to reports received here. He was in the oil-drilling business. The body was returned to Madill overland and funeral services were at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Watts Funeral Chapel, with Rev. W. N. Denton, Baptist minister, in charge. Interment was in the Lark Cemetery, with Watts Funeral Home in charge. Crabtree was born and reared in Marshall County. On September 3, 1918 he was married to Miss Pearl Stonestreet at Isom Springs, and to this union seven children were born, all of whom survive, together with his wife.
