Bio

Mrs. Mary Young, aged resident of Springtown Dies at home Friday night Mrs. Mary Youne, age about 90 years passed away at her home one mile east of Springtown, at 12:00 Friday night. She had been critically ill for several days and her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Young was one of the earliest settlers in Parker County, and she had resided in the community where she died for perhaps seventy years. Surviving are one son, Joe Young of Mineral Wells and two daughters; Mrs. Tom Newsom of Clay County and Miss Laura Young at home. Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church of Springtown at 3:00 Saturday afternoon and burial took place in the Springtown Cemetery. Weekly Herals Jan 24, 1929 Added by Helen Parker
