Daniel Hal Soloman, 64, died suddenly Saturday at his home at Tonaket, Washington, where he had made his home since leaving Canby seven years ago.,and funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Canby Funeral Home in this city with Rev. R.E. Fisher officiating. Virgil Giger sang "Lead Kindly Light" and "Beautiful Isle." Acting as pallbearers were Ray Vinyard, R.C. Smith, Wilmer Sandsness, Jon Eid, Otto Krueger and William Walker. Mr. Soloman was born in Pittsburg, Penn., in 1877 and is survived by his widow, Rose; daughter, Mrs. Robert Dietz, Canby; granddaughter, Roberta Dietz; brother, Cleve Soloman, and two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Ashcraft and Ruth Ramonis, all of St. Joseph, Texas.
