Bio

Born in Bucks County, PA, John was the oldest of 10 children, 8 of whom reached adulthood. He moved with his parents and siblings to Forestburg, TX in 1878. Here the family would stay until present day. After marrying Mattie Catlege in 1883, she and John ventured into Indian Territory, and from there went on to Ft Smith, AR, where John died from Typhoid Fever. They had one son, Earnest Daniel.
