Born: September 3, 1915 in Pitkin, LA Departed: March 10, 2009 Residence: Kerrville, TX Service Date: March 13, 2009 Service Location: Garden of Memories Mrs. Pearl Fisher, age 93, of Kerrville, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in a local care center. She was born September 3, 1915 in Pitkin, LA to John Henry Johnson and Martha (Howard) Johnson. Mrs. Fisher was a former resident of Port Arthur. She was a retired bookkeeper for an auto parts store and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville. Survivors, several nieces and nephews including, Jane Tyner Mohnke and Steve Mohnke of Kerrville and Ken R. Tyner and wife, Ann of Ingram and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Fisher, Sr. in September, 1998 and son, Jim Fisher in 1988. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009, 5-7 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 13, 2009, 2 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery officiated by Rev. Rob Lohmeyer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
