Obituary - Richard V. Herre The Fremont Tribune April 16, 1987 Richard V. Herre Funeral services for Richard V. Herre, 77, Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Fremont, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lattin-Dugan- Chambers Chapel. Funeral services were held in Sun City Wednesday. Mr. Herre died Sunday at Sun City. He was a retired public relations worker for Union Pacific Railroad. Mr. Herre was born June 5, 1909, in Fremont and graduated from Fremont Senior High School. He attended Midland Lutheran College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He also lived in Omaha and New Jersey. He married Fern Hansen March 11, 1937, in Odessa, Texas. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Richard Jr. of Los Angeles, David of Salt Lake City and Dennis of Seattle; and six grandchildren. The Rev. John Swearingin will officiate Saturday's service. Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral chapel. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.
