Big Thicket Messenger - Obituaries For the Week of August 17, 2007 - September 3, 2007 Funeral services for Elma Rae Howard, 87, of Cleveland, were held Thursday, August 9, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland. Interment was at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, along with her brothers, A.W. "Mike" Howard, R.J. Howard; and her sister, Erma Reed. She was born October 1, 1919, in Cleveland to A.W. "Doc" and Mary E. Howard and passed away on Monday, August 6, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers A.W. "Mike" Howard and R.J. Howard and her sister Erma Reed. Survivors include her sisters Alice Keyser, Mary Shaw and her husband Pete and Mildred Irene Hill; nephews, Howard Reed, Charles Hill, Jerry Shaw, Pat Capps and Dorothy Kirkham; and many other cherished family members and caring friends. Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland was in charge of arrangements.
