Sena Larson Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 9, 1990 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Sena Larson Sena A. Larson, the daughter of Louis and Inger Marie (Mogensen) Hansen, was born at Rockville, Nebraska, on June 25, 1916, and passed away suddenly at Aurora, Nebraska, on March 6, 1990, at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 11 days. She grew up in the Dannebrog area, and graduated from the Hazard High School in 1934. She attended Kearney State College, and received her 2 year teaching certificate, and taught school in the Dannebrog area. On June 1, 1941, she was united in marriage to Carl E. Larson, at Arcadia, Nebraska. They moved to Giltner in 1942, and they ran the telephone company and Sena taught school. In 1953, they moved to Aurora and they owned and operated Larsons Nursing Home. Carl died on December 24, 1970. At the time of her death Sena owned and operated Colonial Corners in Aurora. Sena was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church, and was the recipient of the Lady of The Rose from the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl; one brother Herb Hansen; sisters, Helen Schulte, Mae Morrison and one infant sister. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Lloyd of Grand Island and Doug of Hampton; one sister Mildred Trumbull of Hazard and 6 grandchildren.
