Larson Services Saturday AURORA — Funeral services for Carl E. Larson, 61, operator of the Pioneer Rest Home here, will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the Higby Mortuary. Mr. Larson died Thursday at an Aurora hospital. The Rev. Merwyn Davidson will officiate with burial in the Aurora cemetery. Visitation hours were to be 7-9 Friday at the Higby Mortuary. Mr. Larson was born May 12, 1909 at Loup City, the son of Charles and Amelia Anderson Larson. On July 1, 1942 he was married to Sena Hansen at Arcadia. In 1945 they moved to Giltner and in 1953 came to Aurora to operate the Pioneer Rest Home. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Lloyd, Grand Island; Douglas, Aurora; Fred, Boelus and Oscar of Portland, Ore. One sister, Mrs. Ida Heil of Rockville and four grandchildren.
