Rempe, Lawrence, Neb. ........... 28 Anna Rempe, Lawrence, Neb. ................... 20 ========================== The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, August 1, 1957; pg. 1 The Rosary was recited Monday evening at 8 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church for Joseph H. Rempe who died late Saturday at his farm home four miles southwest of Lawrence. Services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church and burial was in the church cemetery. Monsignor F.L. Sherman officiated at the services. Rempe was a native of Lawrence and had resided all his life in the community. He had been in ill health the last two months. Survivors are his wife, Anna; sons and daughter, George of Lawrence, Ralph of Chicago and Mrs. Wilbur Zeigler of Beatrice; three grand children and his brothers and sisters, William of Lincoln, Henry of Superior, Ben of Clarks, Mrs. Fannie Dixon of Denver, Mrs. Emma Theer of Lawrence and Mrs. Lizzie Schutte of Hastings.
