LUDWIG SHINN Bro. Ludwig Shinn, 74, passed away September 5,1967 at Falls City, Nebraska. He was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Shinn, born Feb.4, 1893 near DuBois,Nebraska. He joined our Lodge in February 1912. On February 4,1919 he was married to Bessie Dobrovolny at Pawnee City, and they farmed near Humboldt, Nebraska. His wife passed away February 13, 1929. and he continued to farm until moving to Verdon, Nebraska in 1955. Funeral services were conducted September 8,1967 in Falls City, Nebr. with the Rev. Ward Merritt officiating. Burial was in the DuBos, Nebraska cemetery. Survivors are a son, Lyle Shinn of Kent, Wash.; a brother, Milton Shinn of Hastings, Nebr.; a sister, Mrs. Fred Rexroth of DuBois, Nebr.; 2 grandsons, and a great grandson. A sister, Mrs. Lilly Musil preceded him in death. Z.C.B.J. Lodge Jan Kollar No. 101 of DuBois, Nebr. extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved family. LUDVIG SHINN Ludvig Shinn, 74, Verdon died suddenly at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon Sept. 5, 1967 at the home of Mrs. Zella M. Georges in Falls City. Mr. Shinn was a son of the late Thomas and Mary Shinn. He was born Feb. 4, 1893, near DuBois where he attended school. On Feb. 4, 1919, he was married to Miss Bessie Dobrovolny at Pawnee City. The couple made their home south of Humboldt. Mrs. Shinn died Feb. 13, 1929 and he continued to farm until 1940. In 1955 he moved to Verdon and had since lived there. Survivors are a son, Lyle Shinn, Kent, Wash.; a brother, Milton Shinn, Hastings, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Rexroth, DuBois; two grandsons and one great grandson. A sister Lilly Musil preceded him in death. Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at the Chaney-Hodgens-Sharar funeral home with Rev. Merritt of Humboldt officiating. Pall bearers were Otto Horalek, Lumir Rakosnik, Ludvik Pesek, Frank Dvorak, Fred Halik, Ernest Hunzeker. Burial was in the DuBois Cemetery.
