Bio

Funeral services for Vera V. Huggins, 79, of Leesville were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007 in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel the Revs. Charles Best and Wayne Kite officiated. Burial followed in the Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mrs. Huggins died Sunday, Feb. 25, in Byrd Regional Hospital. She is proceeded in death by her husband, James R. Johnson; one daughter, Hollie Nolen and her beloved grandson, Jason Nolen. She is survived by one son, Jim Huggins of Duncanville; daughter, Robbie Brown of Leesville; brother, Malcolm Johnson of Leesville; three grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
