Bio

1937-2008 Leroy Shipman, 71, of San Marcos, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008. He was born Sept. 12, 1937, to George and Reba Scott Shipman in Dayton. His parents and his son, Michael L. Shipman, preceded him in death. Family visitation was held Friday, Dec. 5, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. A funeral service was held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Nixon. Interment followed in the Nixon Cemetery.
