Bio

Funeral services for Mrs.. Helen Elizabeth Day, 21, were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. J. E. Lee officiating. Mrs. Day died in Spur Memorial Hospital following a heart attack. She had been a resident of Dickens County most of her life. Survivors include her husband, Bill Day; father, L.E. Copeland, Spur; three children: Cynthia Ann, Debra Kay and James Dean Day, 2 brothers, Darrell Copeland and Billy Francis, both of Spur, one sister, Linda Sue Copeland, Hillsboro; one half-brother, Lonnie Ray Copeland, and a half sister, Patricia Ann Copeland, Spur. Interment was in Dickens Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Charles Sonnamaker, U.W. Wallace, Robert Hahn, J.T.
