Bio
Betty Chalupa was born Betty Roberts on July 7, 1925 in LeMars, Iowa. As an infant she was received into God's family of grace through Holy Baptism and confirmed that relationship as a youth. Through all her life her interests centered around her family, her church and it's activities. She and he husband, Robert were married on June 10, 1946. The marriage was blessed with two children: Michael and Susan. In addition she also has one grandchild Carrie Lynn born last December. Also surviving is one brother LeRoy Roberts of Garden Grove. Betty has been active in Lutheran Churches for many years. She joined our congregation here at Good Shepherd in 1970 and was active in Christian Service Circle, Chairman of Parish Publications, and active in Sewing Circle, and served as a Board Member of the L.W.M.L. She gave many hours and much of herself to special work in Convalescent Homes. Died from Cancer
