Nelson (51434898) 27 Jun 1921 in David City, Butler County, Nebraska, USA , Blanche and Carl were married in her parents' home. The two of them had been 1913 Graduates of David City High School. Throughout her adulthood, Blanche had worked as a Teacher, had been certified to teach Business Classes, worked in the Butler County School Superintendent's Office and, as her last role, was Butler County Director of Public Welfare. She also engaged in war work in Washington, D.C. in 1918.
