Bio

Alpha Cleo Bass Culvey was born April 25, 1922 in Woodson, Texas. She went to her eternal home at age 86 December 30, 2008. Cleo graduated with the class of 1940, from Woodson High School, Woodson, Texas. During WWII, she was active in the war effort helping to build North American P-51 fighter aircraft at Love Field, Dallas, Texas. Cleo was a homemaker, always available to help with problems and loved everyone. She loved life, being outdoors and gardening. Her wonderful cooking is remembered by all who knew her. At time of death she was survived by her husband Dan Culvey, four sons Scott Lee (Georgina), Frank Lee (Cherie), Mike Lee and Keith Lee, step children Ray Culvey (Linda), grandchildren, Joan, Jason, Karen, and Stephen Jr., and step-grandchildren Mark, Greg, Tammy, Jennifer and Troy. She was preceded in death by her son Stephen and siblings Sam, Monroe, Hollis, Lorraine and Claudine.
