Bio

Mary Ann Snyder, 68, of North Richland Hills, formerly of West, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, in Bedford, Texas. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 2 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Anthony Odiong as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery near Tours, Texas. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Mary Ann was born in Leroy, Texas, to the the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Hahmann) Snyder. She attended schools in Waco and graduated from University High School in 1958. She worked as an administrative assistant and teacher's aide for Texas State Technical College and West Independent School District. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Mary Ann was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville and the Jr. Catholic Daughters of America. She is preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Hlavenka. Survivors include son, Bubba Wolske and friend, Shelly Kudelka, of West; daughters, Aimee Shelton and husband, Bud, of West and Caroline Ondrej and husband, Lance, of North Richland Hills; grandchildren; Cassidy Shelton, Seth Wolske, and Holden and Evan Ondrej; sister, Carol McCoy, of West; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
