GLENWOOD Funeral Services for Mrs. Roy Carter Held Here Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Carter, a former resident of Glenwood, who died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Henry Jensen in Salt Lake, November 19, were held here Sunday afternoon. Bishop Elmer Sorensen officiating. Musical numbers were beautifully rendered by the ward choir, a duet by Mrs. Norman Holt and Albert Oldroyd and a solo and chorus by Miss Fontell Peterson and the choir. The speakers were H. H. Bell and J. H. Payne. The invocation was offered by Henry Peterson and the benediction was pronounced by Andrew Oldroyd. Profusion of beautiful floral offerings expressed the esteem in which Mrs. Carter was held by those who knew her. Anna Maria Larsen Carter was born April 6, 1882, at Glenwood, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Larsen. She was married November 2, 1904, to Roy Carter. Until the year 1914 they made their home here and since that time they have resided in Millard county. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Orvil L. Carter of Pleasant Grove, Doyle Carter of Heber City, Mrs. Naomi Hoffones of Ely, Nevada, Mrs. Mordella Perry of Hinckley, Mildred, Linda, Lena, Harold and Junior all of McCornick. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Henry Jensen of Salt Lake City, Hans, Terrance, Christian and Aaron Larsen, all of Glenwood.
