Bio
On May 4, 2013, Mildred passed away peacefully at the age of 97, surrounded by her loved ones. Mildred was born on December 20, 1915 in Delta Utah to LeRoy and Annie Marie Carter. She was the sixth of eleven children. Mildred married her sweetheart Elmo Adell Olsen in 1934 in Vineyard, Utah. They were later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Magna, Utah where they raised 12 children. Mildred loved her family, sports, especially the Utah Jazz, Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals. Mildred served diligently in her church callings including a mission in Texas at the age of 62.She was preceded in death by husband Elmo and second husband Angus Langford, 4 brothers, 5 sisters, daughter, Ann Barker, grandson, Travis Barker, Joe D. Olsen, Great Grandson, Joshua Bryant. She is survived by her children, one sister and a brother. She was proud of her posterity of 46 Grandchildren, 115 Great-Grandchildren and 20 Great-Great Grandchildren. A viewing will be held Tuesday May 7th 2013. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 12 p.m. at the church with a viewing prior to the services 10-11:30 a.m. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.
