Clara Barbara Rainosek Vinklarek, of Midland, Texas, passed away July 26, 2015. Clara was born December 4, 1922, in Hostyn, Texas, daughter of the late George and Vlasta Rainosek. Clara had a career of six years with Civil Service, including the Selective Service Headquarters and Internal Revenue Office in Austin. She was married on June 12, 1949, to Felix Vinklarek. Felix and Clara were members of St. Ann's Catholic Church. She was an active member for many years in St. Ann's Altar Society, St. Ann's Choir, and St. Vincent De Paul, a lay member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Crisis Pregnancy Center, and Midland Hospice. Throughout her life, Clara loved to bake kolaches and give them to her children and friends. She loved God, her husband, and especially her children. Clara is survived by her three children, John Vinklarek and his wife Cynthia of San Angelo, David Vinklarek of Austin, and Nancy Vinklarek of Lubbock; and by two sisters, Mary Jacobs of Austin, and Theresa Zezulka and her husband Alex of Austin; and by numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015.
