dau of James Cornelious "Neal" Hollis and Nancy Jane Maxwell; wife of 1st John Henry Thompson married 28 Aug 1935 Wise County, Texas; 2nd Earl Raymond Davenport; 3rd William Thomas Leeper married 1 Jul 1979 Wichita County, Texas. She is buried in an unmarked grave between her husband John Henry Thompson and Earl Raymond Davenport. Services for Susan Rella Davenport, 77, of Holliday, were held Saturday afternoon at Hampton-Vaughan Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Rollins, pastor of Assembly of God Church in Holliday, officiating. Graveside services were Saturday afternoon at Slidell, Texas, Cemetery. Mrs. Davenport was born March 14, 1911, in McKinney, and had lived in Holliday most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Decatur. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Hicks of Holliday; two brothers, Neil Hollis of Decatur and Dee Raymond Hollis of Hammond, Ind.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
