Bio
The Mountain Democrat, Placerville, California, January 9, 1985 "Longtime Camino resident Winnie B. Hamilton died Jan. 7 at the age of 100 in a local convalescent hospital. She was born in Kincaid, Kan. and had been a resident of El Dorado County for 64 years. Mrs. Hamilton was a life member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and past member of the Placerville Fruit Growers Association. She had been a pear and apple rancher and formerly owned the Apple House, a packing and cold storage plant. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by daughters Pearl Larsen and Irene Larsen, both of Camino, and Lelah Larsen of Rancho Cordova; sister Pearl Quast of Sacramento; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Memory Chapel. Pastor Marvin Seibel and Elder Charles Hartwick of the SDA church will officiate. Interment will be in the Camino Cemetery."
