Inez Steagall Jones, 81 of Cantonment, died Friday morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Jones was a native of Alabama and a resident of Cantonment for most of her life. She was a member of the Farm Hill Methodist Church and Gold Star Mother. Survivors include: widower, Thomas G. Jones of Cantonment; 5 daughters, Hilda Ansley, Peggy Caldwell and Judy Rhoades all of Cantonment; Helen Harned of Boston, Kentucky and Mary Jane Bailey of Auburndale, Florida; 3 sons Roland Jones, Daniel Currie Jones and Willie Eugene Jones all of Cantonment; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Avery Brooks of Cantonment.
