She was the daughter of William Andrew and Myrtle Mae (Baker) Sawyer. Dora married Orville Lee Penick on September 19, 1966 in Durant, Oklahoma. She enjoyed working in the garden, fishing and being outside. Dora was preceded in death by her parents: William and Myrtle Sawyer; one brother: Gilbert Sawyer. She is survived by her husband: Orville Lee Penick of the home; two sons: Joe Sawyer of Antlers, Ron Penick & wife, Tonya of Antlers; one daughter: Kathryn Penick of Antlers; one daughter-in-law: Michelle Rose of Antlers; two brothers: Delbert Sawyer & wife, Ki of Harrah, OK, Bill Sawyer of Atoka; five sisters: Frances Lamey & husband, Bill of Hugo, Dorothy Ford & husband, Raymond of Rattan, Elsie Johnson of Horshoe Bend, Arkansas, Wilma Nail & husband, Ronnie of Savannah, Lizzie George of Atoka; eight grandchildren: Richard Don Stigall, Jonathan Lee Penick, Nicholas Dakota Penick, Stephanie Melton, Chris Rose, Heather Rose, Ashley Rose, Amber Myers all of Antlers and many other relatives and friends. Services will be Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 at Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Reed officiating. Burial will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
