Elsie Louellen Johnston, age 68, a longtime Antlers, OK resident formerly of Atoka passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at her residence in Antlers, OK. 68 years and 8 days. She was born on Saturday, August 31, 1946, to William Andrew and Myrtle May (Baker) Sawyer, at Bohler, OK. She attended Atoka High School. Elsie was a housewife. She married Larry Bird on October 28, 2003 at Ashflat, AR Elsie enjoyed reading, fishing and hunting. SURVIVED BY HUSBAND: Larry Bird of Antlers, OK. SON: William Joseph Hunt of Oklahoma STEP SON: Bob Loyd Johnson of Oklahoma GRANDSONS: William Derek Hunt of Antlers, OK Franklin Wayne Hunt of Harrison, AR BROTHER: Delbert Sawyer and wife Ki of Harrah, OK SISTERS: Dorothy Ford of Antlers, OK Wilma Nail and husband Ronnie of McAlester, OK Lizzie George of Atoka, OK Frances Mozell and Bill Laimey of Antlers, OK along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
