Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Carter Aaron, 84, of Lucedale were held April 29 at 11 a.m. at George County Funeral Chapel. She was a native of Jones County, a retired George County school teacher and a member of the Methodist faith. She died unexpectedly at George County Hospital on April 26. Survivors include her husband (now deceased Phil Aaron); a sister (now deceased Florence (Oscar) Butler); and nieces and nephews. Other survivors include great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Luther and Maggie K Carter; and a sister Bernice Andodell Robinson. Services were conducted by Rev. H. J. Hedgepeth. Interment was held in Magnolia Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Published in the George County Times, April 1997.
