Bio

Laurel Leader Call Florence L. Butler, 90, of Moselle, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at Comfort Care Nursing Center in Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Moselle. Burial will follow in Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Keith Thompson will officiate. She was a lifelong resident of Moselle, and member of Moselle Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Alvin Butler. She is survived by two sons, Patrick Butler of Ellisville, and Thomas Butler of Moselle; a daughter, Margaret White of Florida. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home of Moselle, which is in charge of the arrangements.
