Garden County News (Oshkosh, Nebraska), Jan. 14, 1960, Page 1 James H. Newton Harry Newton, 68, a prominent Lewellen community resident, was found dead Saturday evening [January 9, 1960] at home. With the exception of a few years spent in Wyoming his home has been in the Lewellen community. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Grace Lutheran church at Lewellen with Dr. T. J. C. Schuldt officiating and Wright Funeral home in charge. Burial was in the Ash Hollow cemetery at Lewellen.
