Bio

Son of Ralph & Barbara (Heil) Fletcher. Was educated at Lakeland Sod High School in Brown County and Kearney State Teachers College; taught school in Brown and Rock County. Married: Feb. 12, 1945, to Norma Hughes in Ainsworth Military: U.S. Navy. Lived in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; moved to Brown County; moved to a farm in Sherman County, 1949, to Ravenna in 1990. Survivors include his wife; sons, Lonnie and his fiancée, Betty Hulinsky, of Colome, S.D., and Val and his wife, Rosalie, of Ainsworth; daughters, Diana Sears and her husband, Bob, of Ainsworth, Roxie of Ravenna, Syrie Vicary and her husband, Steve, of Logan, Iowa, and Sheila Shaw and her husband, Bob, of Ravenna; sister, Dolly Seifert of Omaha; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence; sisters, Georgia and Virginia; and daughter-in-law, Diane.
