Bio

Born Jan. 27, 1906, near Tarnov to Stanley and Catherine (Placzek) Zoucha. As a young child, she moved with her family to Loup City, later moving to a farm north of Loup City. She attended Valley county rural schools. She married Alex Kosmicki on April 25, 1923, in Loup City. They farmed in the Loup City area until their retirement in 1968, when they moved to Loup City. She lived in her home until 1992. She was a member of St. Josephat's Catholic Church and its Altar Society and Rosary Sodality. Survived by a son, Simon Kosmicki of Omaha and a daughter, Janette (Ms. John) Novakowski of St. Paul. two brothers and three sisters. Preceded in death by her husband and seven brothers.
