Bio

Daughter of Stanley Michael Zoucha of Poland and Katherine Gertrude Placzek of Nebraska. One of fourteen born to couple. Forney, Stella (Sally) M., of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on July 10, 2019. Full of spirit for life throughout her 98 years, she loved her family, mountains, sports and family reunions. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Until macular degeneration made it impossible, Sally was an accomplished seamstress and created many crafts for her church bazaars and gift shop. Her husband, Paul, died in April 2009, prior to their 70th anniversary. Stella is the loving and devoted mother of two daughters, Beverly (John) Woodcock, Becky (Randy) Crews, and one son, Bradley Forney. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Scott. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In keeping with Stella’s wishes, a private family memorial will be held.
