Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Tuesday, September 11, 1956 LOUP CITY (Special Dispatch)--Funeral services for Jacob Czarnek will be conducted Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock in St. Josaphat Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o'clock in the Badura Funeral Chapel. Mr. Czarnek, 86, died Saturday at his home in Loup City follwing an illness of several months. He had lived in Loup City for 31 years and had been employed by the CB&Q railroad. Prior to that time, he had farmed in Boone County. Surviving are his wife, Angela; a son, Frank, of Los Angeles, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Norton Urwiller, Ravenna, Mrs. Andrew Wytaske, Kasson, Minn., Mrs. Stanley Konwinski, Osceola, Mrs. Hubert Stobbe, Ashton, and Mrs. Vic Skorniak, Omaha; 45 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three daughters and four sons.
