Age at death: 85 years, 4 months, 26 days Born 4 Jun 1880 in Jodlowka Walki, Poland to Joseph and Sophia (Cyza) Olszowka. Her father, Joseph, died 3 April 1880, before she was born. =========== Sherman County Times (excerpts) -- Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Oct 30, at the St. Josephat's Catholic Church for Angelia Czarnek, 87. Mrs. Angelia Olsufka Czarnek died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Francis (Herbert) Stobbe, with whom she had been living for the past five years. Mrs. Czarnek was born on May 15, 1878 (sic), in Poland and came as a child to Chicago. She married Jacob Czarnek in 1893 (or 1894). They made their home in Chicago for nine years then moved to Nebraska and lived in Nance and Boone counties where Mr. Czarnek was employed on the railroad. Fourteen years later, he was transferred to Loup City (Nebraska) and they lived there the remaining years. After Mr. Czarnek's death, she made her home with her daughter. Among Mrs. Czarnek's survivors are a son, Frank, Los Angeles; four daughters: Mrs. Helen (Norton) Urwiller, Ravenna, Mrs. Mary (Andrew) Wytaski, Matorville, Minn., Mrs. Amelia (Dick) Skorniak, Omaha, Mrs. Hubert Stobbe, Ashton, 55 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren and many great, great, grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jacob, four sons and four daughters. [Children deceased were: Mrs. Anna (John) Szewczyk, Mrs. Victoria (Stanley) Konwinski, Adolf (Pauline) Czarnek, Mrs. Elizabeth (Stanley) Wytoski, Carl Czarnek, Mrs. Lucille (Henry) Miller, Edmond Czarnek.
