Thanks to contributor #48796369 Helen M. Urwiller, 91, of Ravenna died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Mark Cadenbach will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rasmussen Mortuary in Ravenna. Mrs. Urwiller was born June 9, 1910, at Duncan to Jake and Angela (Olszawka) Czarnek. She grew up around Loup City and was educated there. She married Felix Barton in March 1927. The couple traveled extensively. She had been in every state in the U.S., in Canada twice, Panama, Cuba, Mexico, Catalina Island and the Chicago World Fair in 1933. She married Norton Urwiller on Aug. 18, 1950. She entered the Ravenna Good Samaritan Center on June 19, 1995. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, helping with livestock, fishing with her grandchildren and family gatherings. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and was active in the Methodist U.M.W. until her health prevented it. Survivors include a daughter, Margy Kieborz of Grand Island; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Bea Urwiller of Ravenna; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank; and a sister, Mary. She was preceded in death by her husbands, brothers and sisters. The Grand Island Independent, Oct. 24, 2001
