Born the son of Liston Jackson Knight (1907 – 1979) and Lucy Josephine Campbell Knight (1908 – 1979), he married 12 Jul 1946 in Upshur Co., Texas to Ester Mae Blalock (1929 – 1988) and their children were David Ray Knight born about 1948, Jimmy Don Knight (1950 – 1978), Deborah Darlene Knight born about 1951, and Jackie Glenn Knight born about 1953. He was living in Gladwater, Gregg Co., Texas at the time of his death.
