Obituary for Kenneth Jackson Knight Funeral services for Kenneth Jackson Knight, 75, of Gladewater will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., December 1, 2018, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Burial will take place following the service at the Rockin G Cemetery near Wills Point, Texas. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home. Kenneth passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, in Longview. Kenneth was born December 30, 1942 in Gladewater to the late Liston Jackson Knight and Lucy Campbell Knight. Kenneth was a 1961 graduate from East Mountain and was a member of the last graduating class from the school. He worked in construction for many years and most recently had retired from Matheson Gas where he had worked for several years as a driver. Kenneth enjoyed spending time at the river with his dogs, fishing and riding four wheelers. He worked hard and played hard living life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Kenneth will not soon be forgotten by all those he leaves behind. Kenneth is survived by his son Kenny Knight; daughter Wendy Combs; two sisters Carol Nichols and Jane Mathis; brother Wayne Knight; two grandchildren Garrett Knight and Kendyl Knight as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Juanita Louise Knight who passed away in 2006.
