Bio

Ray B. Jiral, 77, of St. Hedwig, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007. He was born May 22, 1929. His parents, Edward and Theresa (Schwirtlich) Jiral, preceded him in death. Ray is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bernadette (Swierc) Jiral; children Teresa Bordovsky and husband Steve, Darryl Jiral and wife Kathi, Peggy Bielke and husband Lance, Sandra Burg and husband Keith, and Kenneth Jiral and wife Traci; a brother, Joe Jiral; sisters Lorene Grozier, Anne Jasek, and Evelyn Meuth; grandchildren Sarah, Joshua, Zachary, Kaitlin, Landen, Ryan, Gregory, Nena, Grace, Kolby, Kyle, and Makenzie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation took place Friday, March 2, from 5-9 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Father Bill Zadora and Father John Wagner celebrated a funeral Mass on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the John Paul II Parish Center in St. Hedwig. Mass was followed by interment in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig.
