From Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home: Evelyn Theresia Meuth was born January 9, 1933, in Poth, Texas, to Edward and Teresa Jiral. She passed away peacefully on September 27, 2023. Evelyn graduated from Poth High School and was a cheerleader and excelled at sports, especially volleyball. She was able to work full time while raising her four children. She was proud of the 43 years she worked at GMAC. Many great memories were shared with family and friends at the family lake house. Evelyn was a very devout Catholic. Her strong faith was instilled in her by her parents. Evelyn was an Oblate with the Benedictine Sisters of Boerne, Texas. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years, Jerry Meuth; and her son-in-law, Keith Trice. She is loved and will be remembered by her children: Thomas Meuth (Dorothy), Terri Trice, Todd Meuth (Jan), and Troy Meuth (Lisa). She is survived by 13 grandchildren: Kim Olson (Seth), Jennifer McNiece (Matthew), Shelly Randle (Ed), Kelsey Craig (Sheldon), Travis Turk (Kat), Kari Carroll, Jill Leeth (Alex), Jenna Martinez (Frank), Alyssa Latham (Enoch), Kyle Meuth (Kaitlin), Amanda Meuth, and Caroline Meuth. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren: Teddy Olson, Lucy Olson, Brailyn Randle, Zeke Randle, Trinitee Randle, Jaxon Randle, Stella Randle, Riley Craig, and Charlie Craig, Gabriel Martinez, and Nora Latham; one great-great grandson, Brysten Randle; her sister, Annabelle Jasek; and sister-in-law, Betty Jiral. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. The visitation will be at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home in Boerne, Texas, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Boerne on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
