Buried with his father and mother. Inscription on south side of grave stone.
Claudius was the youngest son of Peter and Anna Guidinger. Although he had some physical and mental limitations during his young and short life, he helped out on the farm as much as possible. He continued to live on the Guidinger farm until his death and was cared for by his older brother Peter. Update 11/21/2019: Burial permit obtained from the Mequon Thiensville Historical Society. Cause of death is indicated on the "Burial Permit" as Arteriosclerosis and Influenza . Claudius is buried next to his parents at Opitz Cemetery in the City of Mequon. The single grave marker indicates his name on the south side of the marker. Due to constant weathering, the inscription is fading from the soft stone monument.
