Peggy Weddle Arrangements By: Wise Funeral Home Sep 25, 2008 Bonham -- Funeral services for Peggy Jean Weddle, 83, of Bonham, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008 in First United Methodist Church in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Dr. Tommy Brummett and Rev. Bob Walker will officiate. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery in Ector. Peggy passed away early Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Peggy was born March 25, 1925 in Comanche County, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James "Jim" Chandler. She was a graduate of Comyn High School and received her BA degree from North Texas State. Peggy taught art in the Dallas ISD for many years before retiring. She married Robert S. "Bob" Weddle, June 8, 2002. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Peggy was preceded in death by a son, Robert G. Courtney in 2006. Surviving are: Husband, Robert S. "Bob" Weddle of Bonham Son, Jim Courtney of Lamasco Daughter, Janice Courtney of Sartell, Minnesota 2 Sisters, Ruth Sanders of De Leon, Texas and Catherine Smith of Dublin, Texas 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 801 Star, Bonham, TX 75418 or the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church from 1:30 PM till service time Sunday.
